We have established Fidelis Accounting Sp. z o.o. to fill the gap between the Polish sole practitioners and the big international audit firms operating in Poland.

We are characterised by the unique knowledge and experience in the provision of the audit and professional accounting and advisory services to the various clients from the financial services sector. We have built our competences mainly during several years of work in the Financial Services Audit Department of KPMG, working for the leading financial institutions in Poland.

Paweł Ryba
Vice-President

Polish chartered auditor, fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK.

He started his professional career in banking and continued with KPMG, where recently he occupied a position of a Director in the Financial Services Audit Department responsible for the financial statement audits of banks, asset managers, investment funds, brokers and other financial institutions.

During over 14 years spent with KPMG he was working on many engagements including:

• accounting advisory services;
• risk management system review and assessment;
• internal control system review and assessment;
• due diligence;
• credit and lease portfolio risk reviews and analysis.

In the years 2003 – 2004 he was working in the KPMG’s International Financial Reporting Group in London, where he was working on IFRS technical queries, IFRS model financial statements, developing IFRS training materials and delivering IFRS courses.

In the recent years he was cooperating, amongst other, with the following clients: Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A., BNP Fortis Bank, Handlowy-Leasing Sp. z o.o, Credit Suisse Asset Management Polska S.A., asset managers managing Pioneer and Legg Mason funds, Intrum Justitia Sp. z o.o. and Kruk S.A.

Jacek Tworek
Vice-President

Polish chartered auditor with 15 year experience in the financial statement audit and accounting advisory services. He gained his experience while working in the Financial Services Audit Department of KPMG. Recently he was responsible for the management of the financial statement audit engagements (financial statements prepared in accordance with the Polish Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards). He specialises in the provision of services to the Clients from the financial services sector mainly brokers and investment funds.

He has significant experience in due diligence engagements, accounting advisory services, risk management system reviews and internal control system reviews and assessment.

In the recent years he was cooperating, amongst other, with the following clients: Dom Maklerski PeKaO S.A., Dom Maklerski Banku Zachodniego WBK, Dom Maklerski Banku Handlowego, Dom Maklerski ING, Dom Maklerski Banku Millennium and asset managers managing Arka, Legg Mason, Millennium and DWS funds.

He has professional experience in the provision of the following services:
